INTRODUCTION

S.A.F.E Project

The SAFE (Security and Automation for Fast Environments) project is an innovative initiative innovative initiative that aims to revolutionise the concept of safety in track cars. It consists of a prototype car designed to increase driver protection standards while providing at the same time providing the ability to remotely control the vehicle as well as a continuous and accurate analysis of its parameters. Thanks to state-of-the-art technologies such as artificial intelligence, the system constantly monitors the condition of the vehicle and the driver and optimises its performance, contributing to a safer and more dynamic driving experience.

The original idea behind the project came about gradually and not without difficulty. Initially, the team was divided into two groups, each working on separate projects. However, after a confrontation phase, a common desire to create something more ambitious and complex emerged, combining skills and resources. This decision marked the turning point, prompting us to search for a project that could represent a major challenge, but at the same time exciting challenge.

During this research phase, we located, in school warehouses, a vehicle now unusable due to the complete absence of engine, transmission and electronics and due to structural and structural and trim problems. Despite its condition, we saw in it the potential to give life to an innovative and meaningful project. Hence the idea of bringing the car back into operation the car, implementing features and technologies that can transform it into something completely new and useful. something completely new and useful.

SAFE is not just a recovery or repair project, but an initiative with the ambitious objective of contributing to improving road and track safety. Every day, in fact, we witness, through the news or statistics, the numerous accidents on the track caused by driver illnesses or vehicle malfunctions. This data prompted us to reflect the importance of developing a system capable of minimising risks and, above all, of protect the lives of drivers on the track.

CONCLUSIONS

Results and Impact

The SAFE project is a concrete example of how technological innovation can be at the service of safety and sustainability. Starting from an unusable vehicle, we have turned it into an advanced platform for experimenting with driver protection and performance optimisation technologies. driver protection and performance optimisation.

This journey has not been without challenges, but it has highlighted the importance of collaboration, creativity and collective commitment in achieving an ambitious goal. SAFE is not just a project, but a starting point to imagine a future where technology can prevent accidents and save lives by helping to improve whole vehicle monitoring.

We are convinced that, with further development and refinement, SAFE can be a significant contribution to racing safety and become an inspiring model for other similar initiatives. similar initiatives. Our work shows that, even from limited resources, it is possible to create innovation and generate a positive impact on society.

Future Perspectives
